I do have some friends who love to use Joomla for creating their site. Nice tool, but from SEO point of view has one problem - dynamic URLs. Or it is not a problem? The spider will index many copies of the same page and this is really bad from SE point of view. So what shall we do? Get rid of query parameters! Remove all the ID session parameters, strage marks and characters. Add keywords in their place! Rewrite the dynamic URL in a SEO friendly manner. There are a lot of sources on Internet about how to rewrite a URL.
